Top Ten 2014 Releases I'm Dying To Read

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.
Every once in a while I participate in this one when I either
1) Like the theme, and/or 2) Have the time!
This week's topic:
Top Ten 2014 Releases
I'm Dying To Read

Recently, I spotlighted five titles I'm dying to read that I'm lucky enough to have access to:

A CREATURE OF MOONLIGHT by Rebecca Hahn, SHE IS NOT INVISIBLE by Marcus Sedgwick, LOVE LETTERS TO THE DEAD by Ava Dellaira, DANGEROUS by Shannon Hale, CRUEL BEAUTY by Rosamund Hodge, and THE WINNER'S CURSE by Marie Rutkoski.

I won't go over the WHY again now...you can check out this link for more info!

Instead, I'm going to spotlight ten 2014 titles that I'm dying to get my grubby mitts on, like, NOW!!!

In no particular order...

1) INFINITE by Jodi Meadows

Final book!!! I am so pumped to finish this series!
You probably know that, since I'm co-hosting the Official INCARNATE Read-A-Thon in January. We're taking sign-ups now. It will be EPIC, so do it. You know you want to...
My Reviews Of: INCARNATEASUNDER

2) TAKE ME ON by Katie McGarry

I just love the way Katie McGarry develops her characters. She makes them feel real and you really care about them. She reminded me of why I love her writing so much when I recently erad her latest novel, CRASH INTO YOU. Her books are gritty, raw, honest. And TAKE ME ON just sounds good!
My Reviews Of: PUSHING THE LIMITS, CRASH INTO YOU, CROSSING THE LINE

3) MORTAL HEART by Robin LaFevers
I was so upset when I heard that the third His Fair Assassin book featuring Annith's story had been pushed to the fall of 2014. The first two books released in the spring. These are so good and I just don't want to wait to read the final book! At the same time, I want Robin LaFevers to write the best book possible, so I can't complain too much. Plus, now I have time for a re-read, right!?
My Reviews Of: GRAVE MERCY, DARK TRIUMPH

4) ISLA AND THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER by Stephanie Perkins
Another book that has been pushed! It was originally going to be out the spring of 2013. And then the fall. And now next spring. While I didn't super-crazy-love LOLA the way I did ANNA, I still enjoyed it. I'm really looking forward to returning to Paris and capturing more of the magic that made ANNA so special. *wants!*
My Reviews Of: ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS, LOLA AND THE BOY NEXT DOOR

5) RUIN AND RISING by Leigh Bardugo
Another series that's coming to a close! This is one that I never thought I'd like. I never wanted to read it. If I hadn't, I would have missed out on one of my favorite YA fantasy series! It's so good, and the world-building! Just...oh! I can't wait to see the cover reveal and find out all the ways Macmillan plans to promote this highly-anticipated finale!
My Reviews Of: SHADOW AND BONE, SIEGE AND STORM, THE TAILOR

6) (Untitled) by C.J. Redwine
Yet another finale! This time, I don't have a link for you. I don't know why Goodreads is so bad about putting up information for C.J. Redwine's books. It took forever for them to list DECEPTION, too (which I still have to review, I know...). I don't understand! It's confirmed for a fall release, yet still MIA. Grrr... I adore this series, though, and can't wait to see how it all ends!
My Review Of: DEFIANCE

7) (Untitled) by Rae Carson

No title. No real summary. No cover. No release date. Yet I want this DESPERATELY. I adored the first series from Rae Carson, one of my all-time favorite YA authors. I covet anything and everything she writes. I've said this before, but I would read the dictionary if she wrote it. I so want the first book in The Goldscryer Saga and hope it will be out late summer rather than later in the year!
My Reviews Of: THE GIRL OF FIRE AND THORNS, THE CROWN OF EMBERS, THE BITTER KINGDOM, THE SHADOW CATS, THE SHATTERED MOUNTAIN

8) DEAREST by Alethea Kontis
Alethea Kontis gets better and better with each offering. Plus, she's an amazing person. I love chatting with her on Twitter and Facebook and watching her awesome YouTube Fairy Tale Rants! DEAREST will be Friday's story. Be still my heart...I can't wait to find out more about Friday!!!
My Reviews Of: ENCHANTED, HERO

9) A WORLD WITHOUT PRINCES by Soman Chainani
THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL was one of my favorite MG novels of 2013. It ended well, too, so I'm wondering what's in store with a second book! I'm eager to read this and find out! Plus, I love the covers for this series!!
My Review Of: THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL

10) THE BLOOD OF OLYMPUS by Rick Riordan
One more finale here! This one is special because I am planning a monster read-a-thon! I got behind, and never read THE MARK OF ATHENA last year. So when THE HOUSE OF HADES came out this past October, it had been two years since I read a Percy Jackson novel. I wanted to re-read them! Why do that now if the final book is out next year? So I'm going to read all ten back to back! I'm so excited!!!
My Reviews Of: THE LIGHTNING THIEF (Movie), THE LOST HERO, THE SON OF NEPTUNE, THE THRONE OF FIRE

  4. Eek I'm so excited to read Love Letters to the Dead, you're so lucky! :D I've read only one Katie McGarry book but I'm really looking forward to Take Me On, it has a really interesting concept. I'm can't wait for Isla and the Happily Ever After. I've seen The School for Good and Evil around a few times and it sounds like such a fun MG, I added it to my wishlist.

  6. Great list! Don't you just love when they don't have cover art yet? Don't they know what they do to us? I'm always up for more Katie McGarry and Robin LeFevers!

  7. So many interesting titles on this list, I'm just now wrapping my head around the amount of sequels to favorite books that will release 2014, in addition to the debuts. I couldn't agree more about Rae Carson, The Goldscryer Saga is an automatic TBR, and I'd probably even buy a Carson English Dictionary as well :).
