This past weekend, I've seen a couple of articles go live featuring our favorite topic...fairy tales!

In case you missed them, here they are for you to peruse:

Huffington Post had an awesome article about the ten books you MUST read while you're waiting for Maleficent to hit theaters next month (Or in June if you'll be at BEA when it comes out, boooo, bad timing!!!). There are some great authors on that list! I especially recommend Jackson Pearce, Marissa Meyer, Alethea Kontis, and Shannon Hale if you have to narrow it down...but don't narrow it down, because there are other great authors on the list, too!

For Friday Reads, Macmillan's Library Marketing newsletter linked to a post featuring two great books that we all should be reading: BITTER GREENS by Kate Forsyth (Out Sept. 23rd in the USA; available overseas now!!) and ALIAS HOOK by Lisa Jensen (Which, ummm, I have never heard of but Peter Pan is the villain and Hook is the hero? TBR right now!!!!)

These are the first of what I think will be many fairy tale-themed posts in the coming weeks.

Feel free to share any links you find with me! I'm always eager for news...and even for cool lists!

  1. THanks for the two links! I just added more books to my "want" pile on goodreads. :)

  2. I added some more books to my goodreads pile. I can already tell that my TBR is going to be overflowing after Fairy Tale Fortnight. I love Marissa Meyer. I'm hoping to read Enchanted and Hero this summer.
